How it works

  1. Open shooff and navigate to Hitomi.la in the built-in browser.
  2. Browse normally. shooff watches all network traffic and auto-detects streams and image galleries. The built-in ad blocker handles popups and redirects.
  3. Click "Add to Queue" when content is detected. For galleries, all pages are fetched automatically. For videos, the best quality stream is selected.
  4. Done. Everything is saved encrypted in your library — viewable through the built-in player (video) or comic reader (galleries).
Technical details: shooff downloads entire image galleries with automatic page detection, parallel connections (4 concurrent with rate control), and retry on failure. All downloaded pages are packaged into a single encrypted .ebook file. Supports webp, avif, and jxl image formats. Built-in ad and popup blocking ensures clean browsing.
